Sweet Chili-Glazed Salmon

Serves 4

  • 2 lbs salmon filets
  • Marinade:
  • 3 tablespoon olive oil
  • 3 cloves garlic
  • 2 green onions rough chop
  • 2 teaspoons of red pepper flakes
  • 3 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoon fish sauce
  • 2 tablespoon honey
  • 2 tablespoon lime juice
  • 1 tablespoon grated fresh ginger
  • 1 teaspoon tamarind paste (optional)
  1. Marinade:
  2. Add all marinade ingredients to a blender, or using an immersion blender, puree until smooth.
  3. Salmon:
  4. Pour half the marinade into a baking dish. Add the salmon fillets and pour remaining mariade over. Cover with foil and marinate for 30 minutes at room temperature.
  5. Preheat oven to 350°F.
  6. Bake for 15 minutes. Remove foil, turn on the broiler and broil for 3 minutes or until the top is golden brown.
  7. Remove from oven and serve with marinade spooned on top.
